This blog is a running journal of random thoughts, daily experiences, some potentially useless information, interests, beliefs, causes, dreams and goals... so that we may share in the art of knowing... despite the vast differences in our geographic locations... in an effort to remain close and involved in each others distinctly unique lives.

Paver Bricks & Castle Block

Since the driveway is now cement ... We have a shit load of Paver Bricks and Castle Block ... that must evolve. (The front walk and flower beds across the front of the house used to be brick.)

Patrick has made me two flower beds, one along the side by the garage, and one in the back with a small patio. These projects will not be completed until spring, however, the recycled pavers and castle blocks are in place now ... in an effort to allow what little grass that does grow in the woods, to reappear when the Spring arrives. In May when the snow leaves, we will have dirt hauled in to fill the beds and edge the driveway. Work in progress shown below.

We also removed the fire pit in the back yard and added a new feature! This is very exciting!! Since we live in the age of Identity Theft ... I wanted a burning barrel so that I could destroy my personal paper trail. I have searched for some time and below you will see what we came up with! Due to the intended use and surrounding woods we have added a contraption on the top, in an effort to be responsbile and not burn down 1,600 lush acres are hardwood and pine!

In May when we complete the patio I would like to include a small 12' x 12' pergolas and then .... the Crackerbox Palace will be complete!!
