Thank You Mose'

After a year of research, endless hours of compilation and the relentless help of my friend Nicola .... Tomorrow will be a very important and historic day for our family!!

I dedicate this entry to my Grandfather, Mose' Luciano. What a wonderful gift it is that Mose' passed to each of us, by the right of his blood, that we may continue to hold Italian Citizenship, as well as US citizenship. The opportunities available to my children and those not yet born of our blood, will be realized as they discover all that the European Union has to offer.

At o'dark thirty tomorrow, I will travel five hours to the Italian Consulate, where I will meet with Mrs. Cervone, so that I may hand deliver the final documents. Our Italian Citizenship will then become officially recognized!

At last, everything that the Consulate has asked for has been completed; the documents certified, exemplified, apostilled and our non Italian documents translated into Italian!

Nick and I are planning a citizenship party as soon as everything is finalized! So if you would like to attend please post an entry here to receive a formal invitation!!!
